Dive into the abyss. See how deep you can get.

Abyssal Tides is a fast, build-driven horde-survival roguelite. Pilot a mech-sub through infinite waves of deep-sea horrors — your weapons auto-fire, so every decision is about what you build. Draft upgrades, evolve weapons into screen-clearing mega-weapons, and chain synergies into runs that spiral gloriously out of control.

How it plays

  • Move with WASD or arrows, aim with the mouse — weapons fire on their own cooldowns.
  • Space to dash: a blink forward with brief invulnerability and AoE damage on arrival.
  • Q fires your strongest mega-weapon that's off cooldown.
  • Every level-up pauses the run and offers three cards. Bank rerolls if you don't like the draw.

Build depth

  • Weapon evolutions — get two paired weapons to level 3 and a golden card appears. Missiles + flak becomes Tempest Halo; rail + gauss collapses into Event Horizon, a black hole that drags enemies in and crushes them.
  • Relics with real trade-offs — +60% weapon damage for −35% max hull, +35% fire rate for tougher enemies. It's yours for the rest of the run.
  • Drones, companions and a full roster of hulls, each with its own stats, feel and starting weapon.

The descent

  • Five biomes, darker every five waves — Sunlit Shallows → Twilight Reef → Midnight Zone → The Abyss → Hadal Trench — then loop back through, harsher.
  • Titan bosses every 10th wave. Six of them, three phases each, with a visible phase break at the halfway mark.
  • Elite affixes on regular enemies: Bulwark, Frenzied, Volatile, Brood, Empowered. More dangerous, better loot.

The long game

  • Salvage carries between runs — spend it in the Shipyard on hulls, companions and a multi-tier permanent upgrade tree.
  • Ship Mastery — fly a hull enough and it earns permanent tiers: Bonded → Veteran → Legend.
  • Prestige — "Go Deeper" resets your unlocks for a permanent Depth Level: harder enemies, permanent stat bonus, repeat forever.
  • Daily Challenge, streaks, quests and an online leaderboard.

Five difficulty tiers, from a relaxed Easy up to an unlockable Nightmare.
